As you run your cursor over the little picture blocks you can see how different backgrounds have different effects on your text.

Some font choices are simply not appropriate for some backgrounds.

Images must be tailored to their background to avoid muddied edges.

I've built this page using tables, which allows me to leave this cell of the table unchanged by the background that's used elsewhere on the page.

I can nest another table within the main table to create fast-loading effects.
